Nøgleindsigter:
- Solana price held $120 as traders watched $128–$132 resistance.
- Futures open interest remained elevated during SOL’s latest recovery.
- Alpenglow testnet activity added another catalyst for network attention.
Solana price held above $120 on Sept. 26 after SOL extended a late-week recovery across major spot markets. When writing, SOL was trading near $122.
Meanwhile, traders watched $128–$132 as the next resistance zone. The rebound kept attention on whether buyers could preserve the breakout structure into the weekly close.
The move mattered because SOL reclaimed a level that had capped earlier September rebounds. Futures positioning also remained elevated, while decentralized finance liquidity strengthened alongside the recovery.
Network upgrades added another catalyst, but price confirmation remained necessary before broader targets became relevant.
Solana Price Holds Above $120 After Weekly Rebound
CoinMarketCap data showed Solana price trading around $122 at the time of writing. The token gained about 3.8% over 24 hours and roughly 20% over 30 days. The move followed a Sept. 25 close near $122, up from about $117 one day earlier.

Price action, therefore, returned SOL above the psychological $120 level after several failed tests earlier this month. Market analyst FOUR wrote on X that SOL had completed a bullish flag breakout. The analyst described a break of structure, retest, and a higher high before SOL returned near $120.
FOUR identified $128–$132 as the next area to watch if the structure held. That range remains an analyst target rather than a confirmed market objective. A failure below the breakout area would weaken the near-term setup and shift attention toward lower support.
Solana Price Structure Puts $150 Resistance Back in Focus
Crypto Patel separately identified $150 as the higher-time-frame level controlling the broader setup. The analyst said a weekly close above that level would confirm a larger breakout. His post listed $250, $500, and $1,000 as longer-term targets after such confirmation.

Those projections remain conditional and depend on Solana price first clearing $150 on a weekly basis. The near-term chart carries lower thresholds before those levels become relevant. Holding above $120 would preserve the recent structure, while $128–$132 marks the first resistance band cited by FOUR.
Failure to maintain the current structure could weaken that thesis. Crypto Patel identified $75 as a deeper support area if SOL rejected the $150 region. That level sits well below current prices and reflects a bearish contingency rather than the base case.
Derivatives and DeFi Data Show Higher Market Participation
CoinGlass data showed Solana futures open interest at about $7.65 billion on Sept. 26. Twenty-four-hour futures volume reached roughly $12.44 billion as Solana price traded near $122. The figures pointed to heavy leveraged participation during the rebound.
Elevated open interest showed that derivatives positioning remained large as spot prices recovered. However, higher leverage can increase liquidation pressure during sharp reversals. Traders, therefore, face greater sensitivity to short-term volatility around the next resistance zone.
DefiLlama data showed Solana decentralized finance total value locked near $6.63 billion. The platform also recorded about $2.30 billion in decentralized exchange volume over 24 hours. Application revenue reached roughly $5.83 million during the same period.
Active addresses stood near 2.77 million, while daily transactions exceeded 118 million. Those figures supported the view that the rally occurred alongside active network usage. They did not establish a direct causal link between on-chain activity and SOL’s price advance.
Solana Price Targets $128–$132 Before Breakout Attempt
Network development added another market catalyst. Solana Explorer showed Alpenglow running on public testnet, with average slot times near 220 milliseconds. The upgrade targets faster consensus and lower finality times than the current production design.
Solana Foundation material has positioned Alpenglow as part of the network’s broader performance roadmap. The Foundation also reported that real-world asset value passed $4 billion during August. It said xStocks assets under management crossed $500 million during the same month.
For traders, the immediate technical test remains closer to the current price. A sustained hold above $120 keeps $128–$132 in view under FOUR’s chart structure. Failure there would leave the breakout unconfirmed and could return SOL toward lower support.
The next larger resistance sits at $150 under Crypto Patel’s framework. A weekly close above that level would provide the next verifiable technical trigger. Until then, the market remains focused on whether Solana price can convert the recent breakout into sustained support.
