Binance News: Exchange Adds 11 US ETFs to Wealth Platform

Points clés

  • Binance News showed 11 US ETFs added to its platform.
  • Alpaca Securities handles execution, settlement, clearing, and custody.
  • The US ETFs carry market, liquidity, and price risks.

Binance expanded its securities offering on Sept. 15 by launching ETF Wealth Management for eligible users. The Binance News development added 11 U.S.-listed exchange-traded funds focused on Treasury and investment-grade bond exposure. Binance said the product sits inside its Earn section but does not function as a savings product.

The launch matters because Binance already operates a broader stock-trading service through Nest Trading Limited. The ETF product adds another securities layer to a platform still centered on crypto trading. It also places direct US ETF ownership beside tokenized securities products, which use a different legal structure.

Binance News Details 11 US ETFs

Binance a indiqué the initial lineup contained 11 U.S.-listed ETFs grouped by holding period. Cash Management covers periods below six months. Steady Income covers six to 12 months. Yield Enhancement covers periods above one year.

The exchange said the funds focus on short-term U.S. Treasurys and investment-grade bonds. Binance did not publish a fixed return for any product. Its announcement stated that ETF prices fluctuate with the market and remain exposed to market and liquidity risk.

Eligible users select the ETFs through the TradFi section under Binance Earn. They then place securities orders through Binance Stock Trading. The company said users hold actual ETF shares, rather than blockchain tokens representing those shares.

That distinction separates the product from bStocks, Binance’s tokenized securities offering. Binance said in June that bStocks represent selected securities. They do not provide direct ownership of underlying company shares.

Binance News Shows Alpaca Handles Securities Custody

Binance said Nest Trading Limited acts as the introducing broker. Nest routes orders to Alpaca Securities LLC for execution, clearing, settlement, and custody. Binance said it does not custody securities purchased through the service.

Alpaca’s Form CRS states that the broker executes, clears, and settles trades placed through authorized business partners. The filing also states that Alpaca holds customer funds and securities in custody.

A Feb. 27 U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission dépôt réglementaire identified Alpaca Securities as a broker-dealer. The Form X-17A-5 listed SEC file number 8-69928 for the firm. Alpaca also lists Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Central Registration Depository number 288202 on its corporate disclosures.

Alpaca’s support documentation states that client securities are held at Alpaca Securities LLC. It also states that Alpaca participates in Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation infrastructure.

US ETFs Sit Beside Broader Stock Trading Service

Binance launched direct stock and ETF trading on June 1. Its July-updated FAQ said the service supported more than 7,000 listed stocks and ETFs. An external brokerage supports execution.

That broader service remains subject to regional eligibility rules. Binance also limits market orders to regular U.S. trading hours. Binance said availability depends on a user’s country or region of residence. The exchange also states that securities trading carries market, liquidity, and price-volatility risk.

Binance disclosed that it may receive payment for order flow when routing securities transactions. Its risk language also warns that investors may receive less than their original investment. Those disclosures apply to the securities-trading structure supporting the ETF wealth product.

The U.S. ETF launch also followed Binance’s move into direct securities trading earlier this year. However, the ETF wealth interface does not alter how the underlying securities are executed or held. Those functions remain with the broker-dealer infrastructure behind Binance Stock Trading.

Binance News Comes as Wealth Eligibility Expands

On Sept. 16, Binance separately expanded Capital Connect eligibility to verified individual investors. The marketplace had previously targeted business-verified users meeting similar financial thresholds.

Binance said individuals can qualify through VIP Level 3 status. They can also qualify with at least $1 million in assets. Capital Connect is separate from ETF Wealth Management and connects qualified investors with professional trading teams.

The distinction matters because the two products carry different structures. ETF Wealth Management routes listed securities through brokerage infrastructure. Capital Connect provides access to third-party trading strategies under separate eligibility criteria.

Binance has not announced a timetable for expanding the initial 11-ETF lineup. The next verifiable development will come through future product additions, jurisdiction updates, or amended securities terms.
