Principali approfondimenti:

  • Bitcoin ETF inflows reached about $2.84 billion across six sessions.
  • BlackRock’s IBIT captured nearly half of the six-day inflows.
  • BTC price stayed near $84,000 after retreating from $87,000.

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds extended their inflow streak to six sessions on Sept. 24. The Bitcoin ETF group added $190.7 million, while Bitcoin price held near $84,000 after retreating from this week’s highs.

The latest flows showed institutional demand remained positive, although buying slowed sharply after Monday’s $999 million intake. Farside Investors’ data showed the six-session run accumulated about $2.84 billion across U.S.-listed products.

Bitcoin ETF Inflows Slow After Monday Surge

Farside Investors recorded $190.7 million of net inflows on Thursday, down from $346.9 million on Wednesday. Tuesday produced $714.7 million, while Monday delivered the strongest session of the streak at $999 million.

The sequence followed $433 million on Sept. 18 and $159.5 million one day earlier. Combined flows reached approximately $2.84 billion across those six trading sessions.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust dominated Thursday’s allocations with $162.6 million of inflows. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund followed with $12.9 million, while Bitwise’s BITB received $4.1 million.

Thursday’s total sat 80.9% below Monday’s peak, based on Farside figures. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added $10.2 million, while Franklin’s EZBC received $4.9 million. WisdomTree’s BTCW posted a $4 million outflow, showing demand remained concentrated across issuers.

The same dataset showed BlackRock attracted roughly $1.35 billion during the six-session run. That represented about 48% of combined flows during the period.

BlackRock describes IBIT as an exchange-traded product providing exposure to Bitcoin without direct custody. Its official fund page listed net assets of $68.34 billion on Sept. 22.

Bitcoin Price Pulls Back from $87,000

CoinMarketCap data showed BTC price near $84,250 on Sept. 25, 2026. Bitcoin had closed Sept. 21 at around $86,617 after gaining 6.73% during that session.

BTC price then eased to roughly $86,192 on Sept. 22. It slipped near $84,403 the following day and remained around that level Thursday.

That sequence showed the Bitcoin price rally losing momentum as daily ETF allocations declined. However, the six-session flow total remained positive despite the pullback from above $87,000.

Crypto Tice argued in an X post that inflow momentum needed renewed acceleration for Bitcoin to challenge the $88,000 resistance level. The commentator also linked weaker inflows with profit-taking pressure from short-term holders.

That assessment represented market commentary rather than a confirmed price forecast. Bitcoin would still require sustained spot demand to test the recent high again.

Bitcoin ETF Demand Meets Heavier Derivatives Positioning

CoinGlass data showed Bitcoin futures open interest near $57.4 billion on Sept. 25. Futures trading volume reached roughly $73.4 billion over 24 hours, compared with $5.1 billion in spot volume.

The derivatives tracker also recorded about $110 million in Bitcoin futures liquidations during the same period. Those figures showed leverage remained elevated while BTC price consolidated below its weekly high.

Open interest measures outstanding derivatives positions and can rise alongside either long or short exposure. Therefore, higher open interest alone does not establish a bullish market direction.

The combination of positive ETF demand and elevated derivatives activity created a mixed short-term structure. Spot fund inflows supported underlying demand, while leverage increased sensitivity to abrupt price moves.

BTC ETF Flows Face $87,000 Resistance Test

Farside data showed Thursday marked the third consecutive decline in daily inflows after Monday’s peak. The pattern placed greater attention on institutional allocations after the rapid early-week acceleration.

BlackRock remained the dominant buyer through IBIT during the current streak. Its Thursday intake accounted for about 85% of total net inflows across U.S. spot funds.

Bitcoin now faces its recent area above $87,000 as the nearest verifiable upside reference. CoinMarketCap data placed BTC roughly 3% below that level on Sept. 25.

A renewed move toward that zone would test whether ETF demand can keep pace with higher prices again. Continued inflows with weaker BTC price action would indicate that other selling pressure remained active.

The next measurable catalyst arrives with Friday’s ETF flow data after the U.S. trading session closes. Traders will also watch whether BTC price retests $87,000 or loses its current $84,000 area.
